FORCES THAT AFFECT CLIMATE AND HOW CLIMATE IS RECORDED

When the ice and air bubbles and the dust are trapped it changes the temperature, humidity, atmospheric circulation, volcanice activity, extent of sea ice and pollution by human activity. When u look at the tree rings, you can see the different types of layers. Each rings tells us the growth of the tree during certain time. The Thick rings indicates the rapid growth during warm and wet years. The Thin rings tells us that it was slow growth which means it was a cold weather and dry years.

Tree-Ring Section. When you look at this tree, you can right away notice that there is a thick ring. As you go towards the core, there are different sizes of the rings. This tree lived from 1441-1931. The thick ring (during warm weather) was the time when it was 1880s to early 1900s. This record shows that during that time global warming was taking place.

THE ATMOSPHERE



The four types of greenhouse gases are water vapor, crbon dioxide, ozone and methane. Sun's ray warms the Earth's surface and some of the heat is radiated back to the atmosphere where it is trapped by greenhouse gases. Water Vapor is the most important greenhouse gas because without it, the Earth's average temperature would be below freezing. With water vapor, the planet would be in stable condition to support the life over most of it surface.
The graph shows of how much of the carbon dioxide is actually needed and also the record of how much we have. As it goes from past to present, it shows bigger difference in the carbon dioxide that we actually expected and observed. I think what caused this to change is the human activities.

Gnosticism

I had a little hard time reading about this. I don't usually read about these kind of readings. But i will try my best of what i can write in here. I think what it says that our soul are trapped in a material world. The rest of them I am not sure of what they are talking about. By the sentece that i wrote, its like the allergory of the ave of how people are trapped in teh cave n here is the soul.

I am going to read what other students in our wrote to get a better understanding of this topic.

The Allegory of the Cave

The Allegory of the Cave is about a group of prisoners who are living their whole life under a cave. The people have not seen the reallity of life and for their entire life they are faced towards a big plain wall. Above where they are sitting, there is a fire. In front of the fire, a person place a toy n the shadow of the toy is shown on the big wall. The prisoners thinks that the oject is real and it can talk. Whatever they saw infront of them, it was the reality that they know of. If the prisoners got up and outside the cave, they would know there is much more then what they have known. Comparing this from the movie Matrix, both of them has to do with the life they don't know about. Like the life of Matrix. There is more then there is that they know. (i dont knw if i just made any sense).

Matrix

This was my first time watching The Matrix movie. I have seen previews of this movie and the other Matrix movies which came out few years ago. But i didn't really bother to see because the things they show in preview, i knew i wouldnt understand the movie so i decided not to watch it. So when we watched the movie in the class, i knew i wouldnt understand the movie but guess what? i didnt.

There were certain parts, i didnt understand. Was the agents in the matrix world and in the real world?. and also why is there a matrix?. is something going to happen in the real world?. i don't know if my question makes any sence at all because i didnt get the movie thats why.

When i read the stuffs about Matrix at Wikipidia, i sort of understand what the movie was about. But not really..
